Are you excited to learn about the details from Microsoft’s Xbox and Windows 10 conference on Thursday? You’re not alone. Unfortunately, there will be no livestream for the event and the media will not be able to report on what they see until March 1st.
That is according to a tweet from Xbox Marketing Director Aaron Greenberg.
@KyroxSP @XboxP3 We are not streaming since coverage hits 3/1, not planning a bunch of future title announce, focus on Spring games lineup

The reason for the wait? The media will need time to try out the games though it is possible there will be a new feature announcement that also requires a considerable amount of hands-on time.
Greenberg also said there will not be a “bunch” of new game announcements at Thursday’s conference. The focus will be on the spring games lineup for Xbox One and Windows 10. I still think there will be at least a small surprise announcement – it wouldn’t be a Microsoft event without one.
