You can get a little help from your stream viewers when playing Rage 2

Those of you who plan to stream your gameplay of Rage 2 on Twitch will be able to get some assistance from your viewers. In fact, if you have enough viewers they may be able to bring your in-game persona back from the dead. The viewers will just have to play a little defibrillation mini-game first and their efforts will restore your health. Should your viewers play the game in sufficient numbers then your character could not only come back to life but have a full health bar as well.

Tim Willits, the studio director for id commented on the interactive feature. “Open world games are not really streamed as much as you would think. But we feel that with both the nature of the gameplay of Rage 2, and some of the fun stuff that we added in, we’re hoping to draw some more streamers.”

If this sounds interesting to you then there may be good news ahead. The interactivity may not end there. While Willits did not delve into specifics he hinted that future Twitch extensions will open up new ways for stream viewers to interact with the games their favorite streamers are playing.

Rage 2 will be released on May 14th for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

Are you interested in more opportunities for interaction with streamers in games such as Rage 2??
