Happy Haloween hopefully everyone will have a spooktacular day. Today is Tuesday which means that it’s time to see what Xbox’s Deals with Gold offerings are for this week. While the Shocktober deals are still in effect until the end of today, some new big deals have dropped on titles such as Xcom 2, Styx Master of Shadows + Styx Shards of Darkness, EA Sports UFC 2 and Darksiders Fury’s Collection. There have also been discounts to some notable indie titles. The Escapists: The Walking Dead, Maize, Toby: The Secret Mine and Unbox: Newbie’s adventure. These are all very solid and affordable games to add to your hard drive.
The TiC Pick of The Week:
There are a lot of good deals this week, however with only being able to choose one I would highly recommend XCOM 2. This week the game see’s it dropping 67% from its full price, you can also pick up the digital deluxe edition at 60% off as well. XCOM 2 is one of the best turn-based strategy games available on consoles. The story is well written with many of your decisions having consequences, even the order of how you do the missions can change how the world around you react’s. With 5 different classes of troops with a mountain of different upgrades and path’s, you can play through the game several times without playing it the same way twice. All in all, it is a unique game and is worth the cost of admission even at full price, but at discounted its a must play for any strategy fan.
