Right now I’m working on reviews for Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII and Diablo III on the Switch. Needless to say, my weekend is packed with tons of gameplay from some really good games. I usually find it difficult to enjoy more than one game for a long period of time with my work schedule. During the Winter months I usually have more time to jump into games than during the Summer. One thing I’m trying to do is spend my time after the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 review is play in just one spot of the game.
What I mean is that I’m only playing Hardcore Domination with the game. I have a co-worker who will not stop playing Team Deathmatch. He will jump around from mode to mode a little bit but he always comes back to Team Deathmatch, I felt inspired by him to do the same. I have this problem where I need to play every mode that a game offers and then I get burnt out after some time with the game. So for the next few months I plan on only playing one mode to see if I actually can just stick with this game for a little longer then I would.
For many of you what I’m trying to do is something that happens everyday. Yet since I review games and I have always had this need to play everything I can, I find it difficult to relax with some games. I mean, the last game that really took me away from the world was Watchdogs 2. That games location, story, and look just sucked me in. I still wish that the game had new DLC from Ubisoft.
So I ask you fellow gamers this question. Am I the only one with this problem? Hopefully everyone spends plenty of time with just one game. I guess I’m going to have to relearn how to do that with all the amazing games that come out or will be coming out. Now each weekend along with my box office recap I will hopefully have a Weekend Warrior ready to do. That means two guaranteed articles a week from me if my schedule allows it. Enough of this, I have more games to play.
