Watch Dogs Legion Leaked, Allows Players to Play as Anyone in the Game

E3 2019 is almost here and the game leaks have begun. It appears that Watch Dogs Legion has been leaked ahead of the Ubisoft E3 2019 conference. A listing on Amazon UK that has now been pulled down provided details for Watch Dogs Legion.

Here’s the description from the Amazon UK listing:

Watch_Dogs Legion is set in a near-future, dystopian version of London. It’s a post-Brexit world in which society, politics and technology have changed and altered London’s fortunes. London is one of the most iconic cities in the world and has had a massive influence on all of Western Culture for centuries… London makes total sense for WD, as the city has one of the highest surveillce levels in the world making this the perfect playground.

Since the listing has been pulled, here’s an image:

Jason Schreier of Kotaku verified that this listing was legitimate and that he’s heard from his sources this is the actual name of the game. When talking about this bold idea of playing as anyone in the game, Jason provided this comment:

I’ve heard the same, and also that you’ll see different things at different points in the game depending which NPC you’re playing as. In fact, from what I’ve heard, this system is so ambitious that it’s been causing the developers a lot of headaches (and may have led to at least one delay).

The Ubisoft E3 2019 conference will take place on Monday, June 10th at 4:00 p.m. EDT. If you’re not sure when that is in your local time, you can check here.
