While we have absolutely no idea what kind of game Xbox’s homegrown studio is working on, one thing is certain the talent pool on the team continues to grow at an exponential rate. Industry insider Klobrille took to Twitter today to share that two senior level designers from 2018’s God Of War have recently joined the team. We have seen the Initiative bring in talent from all parts of the industry from Crystal Dynamics, Naughty Dog, Sony Santa Monica, Insomniac Games and many more. It is clear that Xbox is dedicated to building this studio from the ground up with some of the most talented developers in the industry.

While it is very important to remember that you cannot just slam hugely talented people together and a game of the year contender will appear. It certainly has piqued peoples interests in terms of what kind of game the studio could be producing. Only time will tell.
