On the first day of a new year at school, the scary-looking clean freak Ryūji Takasu meets Taiga Aisaka, a girl whose temper is as short as she is. As luck would have it, Ryūji has a crush on Taiga’s best friend while she is interested in his best friend. Once the two figure this out, they team up and help each other win the affection of their crushes. Of course, love is a complex thing and their plans do not go quite they way they intended. Toradora! is a very popular romantic comedy as well as a personal favorite of mine.
