In this title from Sushi Typhoon Games, a catastrophic event has left several girls with special tattoos that grant them unusual powers. After the government placed Tokyo under quarantine, these girls took over the city. In order to escape, the player will need to team up with one of these superhumans and unite every ward of Tokyo. To do this, they will need to get through the rival clans and overthrow their leaders.
The game has a focus on resource management. While subordinates automatically spread the player’s influence in real time, the player must adjust settings to keep infighting to a minimum. Protection money accrues over time and players must decide on the most effective way to spend it. In addition to strengthening their forces, players can use protection money to give the girls additional tattoos. Doing so enhances stats and grants access to additional skills.
Like most games from NISA, Tokyo Tattoo Girls will have a limited edition. This bundle comes with:
- The game itself
- A softcover art book
- The soundtrack on CD
- A box
The limited edition is currently available for pre-order and costs $39.99 in North America. In Europe, the price of this package is £39.99.
