If you were like me and was looking forward to playing Tokyo Ghoul:re Call to Exist this year, then you will be disappointed to know that it has been delayed to 2019 in Japan. The upcoming third-person survival game from Bandai Namco inspired by Sui Ishida’s dark fantasy manga was originally set to release this winter. However, the studio has decided to push the game back to work on the quality of the title.
Although I was looking forward to getting my hands on the game. I can always respect that the studio is willing to delay the game in order to make it the best it can be. If you’re unfamiliar with Tokyo Ghoul:re Call to Exist here is a brief synopsis “the war against Ghouls and Investigators rages on with one goal — to survive. Will you be a Ghoul or an Investigator? To eat or be eaten, this is the question… Based off the popular horror manga, TOKYO GHOUL: re CALL to EXIST is the first video game of the franchise to come to the west, uniting the characters from TOKYO GHOUL, TOKYO GHOUL √A and TOKYO GHOUL:re.”
Tokyo Ghoul:re Call to Exist will release for the PlayStation 4 and PC in 2019 in Japan, North America, and Europe.
