Titanfall studio isn’t only working on a sequel, but also a new 3rd person action/adventure IP.
A job listening posted on Gamasutra suggested something new is in the works at Respawn Entertainment. The role is for a lead level designer for the new Titanfall and an unannounced title, which is going to be a “new 3rd person action/adventure IP,” according to the job listing.
While the job post doesn’t offer too much insight about the new project, there are more details regarding the new Titanfall. CEO Vince Zampella confirmed in March 2015 that it has been in development for at least ten months.
“No official name yet, but we’re working on that. That’s the main focus but we’re starting up a second team and doing some smaller stuff too. Small, exploratory, taking it slow! It’ll be multiplatform.”
Maybe the “small, exploratory” reference could be for the unannounced title? Time will tell.
