EA Access is one of the best things EA has done in years. Two of the best features on the service is giving players a ten hour trial of EA’s games and then giving them discounts if they decide to purchase the game. This is a wonderful feature to decide whether or not a game is worth your time. However, it seems like one of EA’s biggest upcoming titles won’t be apart of the service.
Respawn has confirmed to GameReactor that Titanfall 2 won’t be making its way to the service. Now don’t go pointing your pitchforks at EA, as this seems like it was a decision made by Respawn; Respawn is only partners with EA and as such probably made the decision their selves. Why Respawn chose to opt out of the program is currently a mystery.
Titanfall 2 not making its way to EA Access is highly disappointing. The game could’ve really used it after the lackluster beta that turned many fans off, a ten hour trial of the game could’ve really changed many peoples’ minds. Whether this will hurt the game or not is left to be seen, but I feel it could hurt the game.
Titanfall 2 launches on October 28 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
