I feel like I have a pretty good grasp on what’s going on in the entertainment world. At least I thought I did until today. While I was checking Youtube for any new movie trailers I came across something I never in my life expected to see- The Ring vs The Grudge. Two new horror icons in an epic battle. Watch the trailer below.
Not just that but, while I was looking for a description for The Ring vs The Grudge, I got my hopes up for something on the level of Godzilla fighting anything. Two evil spirits locked in an eternal battle for the souls of Japan. Well I found this instead from Wikipedia:
“A girl, Yūri Kurahashi, after watching a cursed videotape together with her friend in a haunted house, becomes trapped in a conflict between the two murderous ghosts: Sadako Yamamura and Kayako Saeki.”
The movie is currently not listed as a release outside of Japan. Hopefully sometime this year the rest of the world will get in on the battle. What do you think of this crazy horror mash-up? Let us know in the comments below!
