A-1 pictures Studio CloverWorks will be the studio behind the anime. If you’re unfamiliar with their work, they are the studio behind Darling in the Franxx, Persona 5: The Animation, and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney.
It’s the moment that fans of the series have long been waiting for. As for those who may not have read the manga for The Promised Neverland, trust me, you will be in for a treat. Also take a look at the character designs for Emma, Ray and Norman.
If you haven’t heard of The Promised Neverland before, here is a synopsis from Viz Media: Emma, Norman and Ray are the brightest kids at the Grace Field House orphanage. And under the care of the woman they refer to as “Mom,” all the kids have enjoyed a comfortable life. Good food, clean clothes and the perfect environment to learn—what more could an orphan ask for? One day, though, Emma and Norman uncover the dark truth of the outside world they are forbidden from seeing.
