Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced that their RPG/Card game hybrid Super Dragon Ball Heroes World Mission will launch for the Nintendo Switch and Windows PC in April. This will be the first time that a Dragon Ball Heroes game has been released in the West since the series premiered.
In Super Dragon Ball Heroes World Mission you play as a young man named Beat who dreams of becoming the greatest Super Dragon Ball Heroes player in the world. For some strange (and non-canon) reason, Beat’s obsession with the game manifests in his home city which is aptly named Hero Town. Classic characters like Vegeta and Goku will assist Beat on his quest.
While the Japanese arcade game used actual cards that had to be scanned by the machine, this version will not require any outside media – everything can be unlocked in-game which is welcome news to players burned out on collecting amiibos or any other items to simply play the game.
Super Dragon Ball Heroes World Mission will launch in the West on April 5th for the Nintendo Switch and Windows computers.
