The fine folks over at Undead Labs showed a new trailer for State of Decay 2 at PAX East 2018. Watch the trailer here:
The trailer shows off a number of gameplay mechanics such as scavenging for materials, building your base and of course, fighting off zombies. The trailer shows both melee combat and using in-game vehicles to mow down hordes of undead. From my own experiences with the original game and its subsequent remaster on Xbox One, the action in State of Decay 2 appears to be much more polished.
State of Decay 2 will be released for Xbox One and Windows 10 on May 22nd. The standard edition of the game has an MSRP of $29.99 USD. There will also be an Ultimate Edition for $49.99 USD which also includes a season pass for future expansions and a digital copy of the original State of Decay: Year One Survival Edition. Game Pass subscribers can play it on launch day as part of their subscription.
