Stardew Valley originally launched back on February 26th, 2016, and has since become one of the most beloved Indie darlings of this console generation. With over 3.5 million sales since its launch, this happy little farming simulator has been on quite the ride. One of the most anticipated features coming to the game is the multiplayer patch. Which would allow for players to come together with their friends and farm together. The creator of Stardew Valley known as “ConcernedApe” tweeted out earlier today an update on the status of the games Multiplayer.
Hi everyone, I want to apologize for not being more frequent w/ updates about the state of the console multiplayer. XBOX/PS4 are both in certification, I've been told there are just a few fixes and then they can release. Please let me know if I can answer any of your questions

With both patches in certification that means we could have the update within the next few weeks, Stardew Valley fans will have a reason to celebrate. Originally teased back in 2018, it is great to see the game continue to be patched and have new content added. It would not be surprising to see Stardew Valley spike in popularity again when this patch hits.
