Gamers will be given a brand new Star Wars experience in the upcoming Star Wars: Battlefront 2 . A sequel to the rebooted Battlefront series.
The single player campaign will have you play as Iden Versio, a special forces Imperial soldier who vows revenge on the Rebel Alliance after witnessing the destruction of the second Death Star from the surface of Endor. As the leader of the brand new elite Inferno Squad, this story will allow players to do something they would most likely never do; eradicate the Rebellion. Iden’s story will span the time period between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens. However, in the game you won’t only play as Iden but you’ll be able to play as Luke Skywalker, Kylo Ren and other stars of the Star Wars series.
Besides the much desired single-player, multiplayer has expanded that is now spanning all eras which includes the Prequels, Clone Wars, Original Trilogy and Sequel Trilogy. There is no word on Rebels characters. In addition, during Star Wars Celebration, it was confirmed that there will be preorder bonuses from the upcoming movie, The Last Jedi. There will be new costumes for Rey, Kylo Ren, new heroes from the film, a Millennium Falcon and First Order TIE Fighter skin.
