We’ve been covering Sea of Thieves for quite some time, sharing our beta impressions and updates on the game. Now, it’s nearly here! Just a few days ahead of its launch, Rare has released the Sea of Thieves launch trailer, giving players a taste of what to expect. There’s pirates, pigs, pirates chasing pigs, skeletons, ships, grog and more. Oh yea, there’s also some sort of Kraken-thing in the water but that shouldn’t be a problem, right?

I hate to lean on a cliché but honestly I don’t think a bigger boat is going to help. It’s almost time to set sail, as Sea of Thieves releases on Xbox One and Windows 10 on March 22nd, 2018. If you don’t want to pre-order, you can also get in by simply subscribing to Game Pass, as all Microsoft Studios exclusives are available on Game Pass the same day they release.
