XSEED has announced that they will be localizing Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin. This action platformer from Edelweiss will release on PS4 and PC.

Despite being a game about rice cultivation, it appears to have quite a bit of action. The game takes place in a world full of iconography from Japanese mythology. It is up to Sakuna to tame her new island home by slaying demons. With her magic “celestial scarf,” she can grapple distant enemies and platforms. She also wields the tools of her trade in combat and can pull off some impressive, fluid combos.
The game also features rice cultivation. This portion of the game includes every step in the process from planting to harvesting. Through this, Sakuna the harvest goddess is able to hone her combat prowess.
XSEED aims to have this title out sometime in 2018. They will also have more of it to show at E3 2017.
