It has been reported from Deadline that the streaming giant Netflix is developing a Resident Evil television series. The series is reportedly being developed by Constantine Film the studio behind the Resident Evil movies. Now keep in kind that this is a rumor and no official word has been given from Netflix. So take this with a grain of salt.
Even with its recent announcement of its price increase Netflix, it seems Netflix is doubling down even more in bolstering its already impressive catalog. Resident Evil first began its film franchise back in 2002 and has had 6 movies since then.
While the video game series has had 27 titles including the Resident Evil 2 remake that will release for the Xbox One, PS4, and PC today. How do you feel about a Netflix television series, given the past video game adaptations from Hollywood, I personally don’t know how to feel about this, but I’m willing to give it a chance.
