Dead Rising 3 was one of the more popular games at the Xbox One’s launch, having sold pretty well. However, Capcom has gone mostly silent on the series ever since the final DLC came out in 2014. It looks like we’re finally starting to get some news on the next entry in the series… Even if it’s just confirmation that the game is coming.
An insider on NeoGaf, ekim, has said that Dead Rising 4 is in the works by Capcom Vancouver; Capcom Vancouver developing the game is expected as they’ve made every game in the series since Dead Rising 2. The insider does not know whether or not the game will be exclusive like Dead Rising 4. But with Capcom having financial struggles and not even being to support Street Fighter V by their selves, it seems likely that the zombie game will once again be exclusive.
Fans of the series have noticed that the Dead Rising Facebook page has been suspiciously active throughout all of May. The page has been posting various things about the series’ past and history; perhaps this is the page’s subtle way of getting Dead Rising fans excited for a reveal at E3 2016?
