Psyonix, the team responsible for developing and publishing the indie hit Rocket League, have announced that the game will now support support cross-network play between Xbox One and PC.
Rocket League hit Xbox One in February and since then has gained a following of 2 million strong. The option to include (or exclude) cross-network opponents can easily be found in the Options menu of the game.
This news now means that Xbox One players can play with PC players and PlayStation players can play with PC players. It appears that all that remains is for Xbox and PlayStation to connect and allow cross-network play. Given that Microsoft have already extended the olive branch to anyone interested it seems that this may be the next step in cross-network play for Rocket League.
