As the new year has begun, different companies are already beginning to expand and further grow. Thanks to a Twitter announcement, we’ve learned that Rebellion Developments has acquired TickTock Games.
As a part of the acquisition, TickTock Games will be renamed Rebellion North. In addition to Rebellion’s main headquarters, they currently operate Rebellion Warwick and Rebellion Liverpool, making Rebellion North the fourth studio in the company. TickTock Games has worked with Rebellion in the past on games like Rogue Troopers Redux, as well as the Nintendo Switch version of Battlezone Gold Edition.
Rebellion CEO and co-founder Jason Kingsley said that “We’ve worked with TickTock Games for a while now and we know they’ll continue to prosper as Rebellion North.”
Rebellion Developments are the developers of games like Sniper Elite and Strange Brigade. Rebellion also confirmed that they have “multiple unannounced titles” in development that will release in 2019.
