Today Rebellion studio announced that Sniper Elite 4 will be released sometime this year. Sniper Elite 4 takes place directly after the events of Sniper Elite 3 and also takes place in Italy in 1943. You play as Karl Fairburne who fights alongside the Italian resistance who battles against fascism.
Rebellion said at the press release that this will be the first game designed without the constraints of old generation hardware and will be in 1080p on Xbox One and PS4. Rebellion also said that the maps will be “many times the size” of those in Sniper Elite 3. It was also announced at the press release that the Sniper Elite franchise has sold over 10 million copies. Other than that, Rebellion didn’t go further into detail.
Sniper Elite 4 will launch sometime this year on Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Stay tuned for more details and information.
