CES 2019 kicks off this week, which means we will soon get to see what new technology we can look forward to draining our wallets in the near future. One such reveal by gaming peripheral giant Razer definitely has our interest. Today, we got our first look at the Razer Raptor 27″ monitor, which is geared specifically for the hardcore gamer. This is Razer’s first foray into the PC monitor market, and it looks like this monitor could be available sooner then you think. Set to retail for around $699 USD, the massive 27-inch Raptor will be released later this year. Razer who has long been known for their top of the line peripherals such as headsets, keyboards, and gaming mice. The video below shows a custom setup built around the Razer Raptor, and all the different features the monitor has.

The Razer Raptors technical specs are as follows.
- 27-inch screen with 2560 x 1440 QHD Resolution
- 144HZ Refresh Rate
- The monitor supports HDR though at this time there is no information in regards to what HDR standard it will support.
Sporting a slightly high price point for its specs but the sleek and beautiful design helps justify the price to some consumers. It will be interesting to see more of the Razer Raptor closer to its launch later this year.
