Early this morning we learned that PlayStation will be holding a State of Play stream later this week. On May 9th at 6 PM EST or 3 PM PT, PlayStation will be holding a State of Play stream to give its players an update. This State of Play will be focusing on an extended look at the upcoming MediEvil remake, as well as showing off the first look at a new title.

What could that new title be perchance? We have no idea at this time, but it is important to keep expectations in check. In terms of keeping expectations in check, if you are hoping for any PS5 related news. In the official blog post, it clearly stated the following.
“One note: Don’t expect any updates relating to our next-generation plans this time. Sorry!”
While the previous State of Play was heavily PSVR focused, Sony’s adoption of Nintendo Direct/Inside Xbox constant updates is refreshing.
