The next big indie game coming out of Annapurna Interactive and Mobius Digital Games, Outer Wilds, has finally been given a launch date! Surprisingly, this one makes planetfall on May 30th exclusively for Xbox One and Epic Games Store. Who knows how long it will stay that way, though. Last year fans were given free copies of the game while watching the 2018 E3 event through Mixer. Ever since then, the developers of Outer Wilds have been very quiet. It also disappeared from the Microsoft store for a period of time. We only have a little longer to wait now!
Outer Wilds is an open world action adventure space exploration sim. The player is stuck on a planet near the sun before it goes super nova. You have 20 minutes to figure how to get out alive but you progress further and further after each play through. You can check out the launch trailer below.
