When the deal between Sony and Marvel (to share the rights to Spider-Man) was first announced it was with talks still on going for other MCU characters to cameo in standalone Spidey films. EW has now confirmed, with the man himself Kevin Feige, that the 2017 Spider-Man film will feature at least one cameo from another fellow Avenger.
“He is in the universe now, and the fun of the universe is that characters go back and forth,”
This is a popular trend amongst the Marvel movies currently with Ant-Man, Thor: Ragnarok and Captain America: The Winter Solider all featuring an ‘extra’ Avenger. You will get your first look at Tom Holland’s Spider-Man on April 29th, in Captain America: Civil War.
