The upcoming Nvidia GTX1080/1070 series have finally received their trial by Benchmark. The guys over at VideoCardz have revealed the spectacular benchmarks of the upcoming cards, and they will literally make your GTX980 quiver. The GTX1080 will ship with 8GB DDR5X standard, a first for cards built by Nvidia. The GTX1080 will also run at a clock speed of 10Ghz, and have a memory bandwith of 320Gb/s which is blazingly fast for a card with DDR memory.
This comes after AMD revealed their 16Tflop Radeon Pro Duo earlier, which features 1024Gb/s HBM Memory and a hefty $1499 price tag.
The new cards is expected to be announced any moment now.
