Hot on the heels of the latest Nintendo Direct came the announcement of the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Limited Edition Set. You can check out the announcement from a tweet made by Nintendo of Europe:

As you can see, the Limited Edition of the game will be released on the same day as the standard edition. You won’t find any statues or odd knick-knacks here; this edition actually comes with items that will be useful for a competitive Smash Bros. player. If you buy this set you will receive a copy of the game along with a Gamecube controller and an adapter to use it on your Nintendo Switch. We do not yet have a price for this version of the game.
There is no word regarding a North American release of the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Limited Edition. I have reached out to Nintendo of America and will update this article when more information is available.
