Nintendo Brings the Power to Game Awards

So far tonight at the Game Awards Nintendo has really shown how the Nintendo Switch is getting some of the best games. In addition to some new games, the new chapter in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild DLC was shown. This DLC is called Champions Ballad. Please enjoy the trailer.

Nintendo announced that they will be bringing the first two games in the Bayonetta saga to the Switch. When I say the first two games, I mean that a third one is also on the way and that game is being developed exclusively for the Switch. Sit back and watch that trailer, if you want to see the Bayonetta 2 trailer then click this link.

Nintendo did very well at The Game Awards. The company won in numerous categories for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. These categories included:

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

  • Game of the Year
  • Best Action/Adventure
  • Best Studio/ Game Direction

The Legend of Zelda wasn’t the only winner at the awards show. Super Mario Odyssey won Best Family Game, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle won Best Strategy Game, and finally Metroid: Samus Return won Best handheld Game. Tonight’s show may have been mostly filled  with commercial after commercial, it did show some wonderful music and the great system the Nintendo Switch has become in such a short period of time.
