This week Nintendo released a couple of Pokémon Sun & Moon trailers. One American trailer and the other, a Japanese trailer. In the American trailer we got some new Pokémon reveals as well as another “class” of Pokémon known as Ultra Beasts. The only Ultra Beast that was shown is named UB-01 and it looked like a giant jellyfish. To be honest, I’m not too sure on how this class of Pokémon stacks up against the Legendaries. The name and the fact it’s an Ultra Beast are the only things revealed about it in the trailer.
Pokémon Sun & Moon will be taking place 12 hours apart; causing certain events in the game to play out completely different. We are also introduced to the Aether Foundation. The group is based on a man-made island that floats just outside the Alolan Islands called Aether Paradise. The island was built to house and protect Pokémon and the Aether Foundation seems to be the main rivals of Team Skull. One more fun thing they have seemed to slip into the game is a Pokémon Snap like mode called Poké Finder. So all you Pokémon Snap fans get ready to once again become virtual shutterbugs.
You can check all this and more in the trailer below.
Just for fun I included the new Japanese trailer in here too. I’m not sure what kind of information it has because I don’t read Japanese, but it has some pretty sweet CGI scenes of the two Legendaries. I know the hardcore Pokémon fans amongst us can spot some things in the trailer that most of us won’t notice so have at it.
