A new app from Microsoft quietly made its way to the Windows 10 App Store and the service it offers is rather interesting. In an article originally posted by The Verge, it seems that Microsoft will happily provide you with a cellular data connection if you happen to be in an area where you cannot access a WiFi hotspot.
While the description indicates that you will be piggy-backing on a nationwide network such as Verizon or AT&T, this app differentiates itself by allowing you to pay for the connection with your Microsoft acccount. That is a nice option to have, especially if you are not comfor table divulging your credit card numbers on a hotel network.
There are two caveats though. This service is only available for Windows 10 devices and it must use a Sim Card from Microsoft.
