The new Ghostbusters movie will be finally be hitting the big screen on July 15th. It’s been over 30 years since the last movie was released. Fans can expect an all female group of “Busters” to keep New York City safe from the undead and then we can look forward to two new games being released around the same time as the movie. Ghostbusters is a third person co-op paranormal romp through some of Manhattan’s most haunted places. Players will find themselves in a new story that takes place after the movie. Just like the Ghostbusters game from 2009 you will be placed as a rookie “Buster” that is challenged by a mysterious and new form of paranormal activity in the Big Apple. As players progress through the game they will level up their gear and abilities by completing objectives, destroying gastly ghouls and by finding hidden collectables around the city. Four heroes will be available to play with unique personalities and play-styles. Ghostbusters will be available for the Xbox One, PS4, and Windows 10 through Steam on July 12th.
The second game will be called Ghostbuster: Slime City and it is a mobile game that will allow players to save the city from a new ghastly threat. Players will again use co-op to collect powerful ghosts that will help players rise to the top of the leaderboards. Crafting proton packs from many different combinations, upgrading their personal headquarters, and completing jobs around the city will take up the rest of time playing Ghostbuster: Slime City. Slime City will be released in July on Apple , Android, and Kindle devices.
