We have some bad news, the production for the live-action Cowboy Bebop series from Netflix has come to a screeching halt. The reason for this is because John Cho, the actor who will be playing Spike in the upcoming series, was injured on set. The production of the series will be put on hold for at least 7-9 months.
We all wish John a speedy recovery and hope that the injury isn’t too serious. Let us know your thoughts on the recent developments with the series in the comment section below.
Netflix describes the series as “Based on the worldwide phenomenon from Sunrise inc, Cowboy Bebop, is the jazz-inspired, genre-bending story of Spike Spiegel, Jet Black, Faye Valentine, and Radical Ed: a rag-tag crew of bounty hunters on the run from their pasts as they hunt down the solar system’s most dangerous criminals. They’ll even save the world…for the right price.”
