NASCAR is Coming Back to Consoles in 2016

NASCAR racing games have had a bumpy ride in the past. At one time they where extremely popular, yet now NASCAR has become more of a side note as DLC for Forza 6. All of this will change this year when NASCAR Heat Evolution hits stores on Sep. 13th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Heat Evolution is developed by Monster Games who had been developing past NASCAR Games. With the help of DMR (Dusenberry Martin Racing), who holds the licensing agreement with NASCAR, and over 100 years of racing knowledge, Monster Games will be making this one. Heat will feature the top drivers, teams, and extremely detailed tracks. One thing that this game is doing differently is the cover racer will be the first Toyota driver to cross the finish line in the Sprint 2016 All Star race. Those drivers include Kyle Busch, Carl Edwards, Denny Hamlin, Matt Kenneth, and Martin Truex jr.

DMR is extremely excited about this new game they are making with Monster Games. So excited that DMR President Ed Martin stated, “To deliver an all-new game experience, we assembled an all-star team of NASCAR game experts and started with a clean sheet of paper. What the DMR and Monster Games teams have come up with is going to amaze NASCAR fans.” It is starting to look like NASCAR Heat Evolution will be a racing force to deal with when it is released this fall. Click here to check out the Gamestop page in case you want to pre-order this game now. Let us know in the comment section who you think will win the cover race.
