Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Beta Announced For PlayStation Plus Users

Today, Capcom announced a Monster Hunter World: Iceborne beta that is coming soon. The beta will only be available on PlayStation 4, for PlayStation Plus subscribers. The beta does not however require that you have the base game installed or owned.

Here’s when you’ll be able to play the Monster Hunter World: Iceborne beta:

The beta will begin on Friday, June 21st at 3:00 a.m. PDT/6:00 a.m. EDT and will run through Monday, June 24th at 3:00 a.m. PDT/6:00 a.m. EDT.

The beta included three quests and will let players test all 14 weapon types, including the new Clutch Claw mechanic. Upon completing each quest, you’ll get a consumable item that can be used in the expansion when it releases.
