Minecraft is the ultimate tale of “the little guy”; what started as a simple indie game has become a cultural phenomenon. Said cultural phenomenon has now sold over 100 million copies as revealed by developer Mojang. Even though the game came out back in 2011, the game is still selling 53,000 copies a day and doesn’t seem like it’s slowing down. Many people questioned Microsoft’s decision to purchase Mojang a few years ago, but it seems like that purchase is definitely paying off.
