Microsoft updates Wordament on mobile devices with new game modes and achievements

Microsoft has just released a major update for Wordament – one of the mainstays in their casual games lineup. The update brings some new game models and a bunch of Xbox Live achievements for those of you who are looking to boost your gamerscore. Wordament is still free for players; the game is supported by still advertisements. There are no loot crates to worry about so just enjoy the game.

If you have never heard of Wordament before, think of it as an interactive word search. You are presented with a panel full of letter tiles and you must then form words out of letters by drawing a line through them. Forming large words and using uncommon letters brings you more points. There are daily challenges available which give you tasks such as earning a certain number of gems within a set number of moves. There is also a single player adventure mode which presents several world maps you must clear on your journey.

All of you competitive types should enjoy the multiplayer mode which pits you against others striving to outscore everybody else.

We know that a lot of Xbox gamers out there love to build up their gamerscore. This game offers a full 1,000 points through its achievements. It may seem like you are earning a lot of achievements up front but the casual games from Microsoft tend to have some very time consuming ones as well.

Wordament is available for iOS, Android and Windows 10.
