Microsoft Shares Gamescom Plans For Xbox

Gamescom is a major annual event for the video games industry and Xbox will be heading to Germany with a bunch of games, new announcements and the company is even teasing some surprises.

There will not be a live press conference at Gamescom but you can expect a live episode of Inside Xbox which will begin on Tuesday, August 21st at 4:30 p.m. local time (that’s 7:30 a.m. in the Pacific time zone and 10:30 a.m. on the East coast). Microsoft is bringing 25 upcoming games including Forza Horizon 4, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, and the new Daybreak pack for State of Decay 2. There will also be new annoncements for Xbox console bundles and -intriguingly- accessories. This could be the new Adaptive controller but I have a suspicion there will be something else; perhaps add-ons for that Adaptive controller.

There will also be an Xbox FanFest event for those of you who can make it to Cologne, Germany. That will happen on August 23rd and tickets should go on sale soon.

We will be sure to bring you news from Gamescom so be sure to follow us on Facebook and Twitter and keep an eye out for those announcements.
