Microsoft has revealed their plans for Xbox during E3 2018. Mike Nichols, the Chief Marketing Officer for Xbox, has detailed their vision for what he calls Microsoft’s “biggest E3 showing ever” via a post on Major Nelson’s blog.
Xbox will host its E3 booth at the Microsoft Theater, located directly across the street from the Los Angeles Convention Center where most of the E3 event is held. The Microsoft Theater will host the Xbox press conference on June 10th as well as the annual FanFest event and demo stations for all of the Xbox games on display.
Microsoft will still have a presence within the Los Angeles Convention Center but that space will be devoted to Mixer. Expect an episode of Inside Xbox as well as developer interviews and game showcases to be streamed on Mixer.
“With the evolution of E3, now including fans and extended show hours, we saw an opportunity to create an entirely new show experience reaching E3 attendees and those that are following the show from afar,” wrote Nichols.
The Xbox E3 2018 media briefing will begin on June 10th at 1 p.m. There will be additional details regarding Xbox at E3 announced in April.
