Metro: Exodus Has Been Delayed into 2019

Metro: Exodus is the highly anticipated game from developers 4A Games. Metro: Exodus is the follow up to the dark post apocalyptic themed Metro: 2033 and Metro: Last Light. The game was set to launch fall of this year, but Metro: Exodus has been delayed, as announced today by publisher THQ Nordic, who recently purchased Metro’s publishing company Deep Silver. In the financial report it puts Metro: Exodus as Spring 2019 release. While there has been no reason specified for why this delay happened, with how packed the fall is, with games such as Call of Duty Black Ops 4, Battlefield, Red Dead Redemption and many more, it is safe to say postponing the launch to a less busy spring time frame, and giving the developers more time to polish this already amazing looking game can only pay off in the long run.

Since Metro: Exodus has been delayed, check out the E3 2017 reveal trailer:

Metro Exodus is an epic, story-driven first person shooter from 4A Games that blends deadly combat and stealth with exploration and survival horror in one of the most immersive game worlds ever created. Flee the shattered ruins of dead Moscow and embark on an epic, continent-spanning journey across post-apocalyptic Russia in the greatest Metro adventure yet. Explore the Russian wilderness in vast, non-linear levels and follow a thrilling story-line inspired by the novels of Dmitry Glukhovsky that spans an entire year through spring, summer and autumn to the depths of nuclear winter.
