Bandai Namco has released a new  Soul Caliber VI trailer, which confirms a few characters that will be returning in the game. Nightmare, Kilick, and Xianghua along with a new fighter Groh (The Agent in Black). In the trailer, each character gets their own spotlight, showing off a few combos and finishers.
However, not only did the trailer introduce these characters but it also revealed a small teaser of what’s to come. It seems some of the characters will have corrupted Soul-edge power. As shown in the trailer at the end, with Kilick transformed and delivering a devastating attack. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem as if this will be a permanent form that we will be able to play an entire match with. It will instead be a brief power up. Now, this isn’t the full roster. Rather, it’s a brief introduction to some of the cast.
Bandai Namco describes the game as:
SOULCALIBUR VI represents the latest entry in the premier weapons-based, head-to-head fighting series and continues the epic struggle of warriors searching for the legendary Soul Swords. Taking place in the 16th century, revisit the events of the original SOULCALIBUR to uncover hidden truths.
Soul Caliber VI is slated to release sometime this year for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC; so sit back and enjoy the trailer below.
