Mass Effect: Andromeda released before the Xbox One X was released and as a result did not see any Xbox One X enhancements beyond HDR support (which was also available on Xbox One S). It looks like that could be changing though, as the listing for Mass Effect: Andromeda on the Microsoft Store has Mass Effect: Andromeda listed as Xbox One X Enhanced.

Tomorrow is November 7th, or N7 Day, a day where Mass Effect news has traditionally been announced. It’s possible the announcement will come to coincide with N7 day or with the upcoming X018 Xbox event.
Mass Effect: Andromeda released on March 21st, 2017 to somewhat tepid reviews. While many (including myself) enjoyed the game’s combat and exploration, the writing was uneven and there were serious cases of unpolished animation. With that said, if the game gets proper Xbox One X support with higher resolution (currently it runs at 900p on Xbox consoles) or even a higher framerate, some more Xbox gamers might be interested in playing it.
At a PAX panel earlier this year, Casey Hudson, General Manager of BioWare, noted that the Dragon Age and Mass Effect series weren’t done and that they heard what fans wanted “loud and clear.” This could be a step in that direction.
