The latest entry in the hit Mass Effect series was announced today during EA’s E3 conference. The new game, titled Mass Effect: Andromeda, was announced today in the form of a CGI trailer. The trailer begins with Johnny Cash music playing over images of a desert, very similar to the deserts seen in Borderlands, then it’s revealed that someone in futuristic armor is looking at the planet. The person turns around and then he’s shown to be wearing the iconic N7 armor. The trailer then cuts a series of action segments where the N7 armored man fights various aliens and drives around in the Mako vehicle, which was last seen in the original Mass Effect.
Mass Effect: Andromeda will be released on Xbox One, Play Station 4 and PC in the fall of 2016.
