The first trailer for Marvel’s upcoming show, Inhumans, has been released today and looks very pretty for the most part.
For those of you who may of heard of the Inhumans but not know who they are, the comics feature a race of superhumans created by the Kree who went on to form a society of their own and are led by their king Black Bolt and his royal family which include Medusa, Karnak, Gorgon, Triton, Crystal, Maximus the Mad, and Lockjaw, a big ol’ dog.
Moving on to the trailer which was shot with IMAX cameras, itshows us conflict in the Inhuman royal family as Maximus has a desire to go to Earth, their “rightful home” to have freedom for all the Inhumans. It then shows the audience what to expect from this season as Black Bolt is sent to earth with Lockjaw, Maximus sitting on his brother’s throne and a lot of fighting.
While many have their doubts due to the fact the trailer showed some weak sound effects and it’s premiering on ABC, the same channel which has brought us Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., we still have yet to see the show in it’s entirety. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. had the same doubts but ended up getting high reviews and is currently going to have a fifth season in 2018. I say let’s wait and see what the Inhumans brings us before disregarding it.
The first chapter will debut in IMAX theaters for two weeks starting September 1st and will premiere on ABC television on September 29th.
