Marvel Comics has created a platform which allows fans can create their own comic panels. TapTap Comics is bringing this new feature to fans like me and just don’t have the talent for drawing. I can make a mean stick figure battle royale but nothing like the artists who make some of the greatest characters come to life.
As you can see in the video above, fans can pick a character and have them do just about anything. The app currently is listed as coming soon and you can sign up for news updates at this website. The list of things that are not allowed is staggering. In the Terms and Conditions the list includes:
- Death
- Suggestive or revealing images
- Nudity
- Content that could upset young children or the parents of young children
- Gambling
- Graphic violence
These are just a few of the items that will not be allowed. The list includes plenty of items that you know some people will make just to break the rules. It will be interesting to see how Marvel moderates the content on this app. So when the app is released we will get back to you with an overview of how it works. Hopefully by the time it comes out we can get some more information on what else you can do with this app.
