The March 2019 NPD results have been released and we have a fair bit to go over. According to NPD analyst Mat Piscatella and VentureBeat, The Division 2 took the top spot as bestselling game of the month, while Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice took second place. FromSoftware had previously announced that Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice had sold 2 million copies in its first week. MLB: The Show 19 took the third spot while Devil May Cry 5 made the fourth.
As for hardware, the Nintendo Switch was the bestselling console of March 2019. With the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One both having released in 2013, the sales of those platforms are slowing down.
