We always knew that Joss Whedon had a visual treat in store for fans with the Maximoff twins. From the beginning, when the deal was announced, he emphasised that it was very much about mixing up the skills set amongst the Avengers team. Prior to the arrival of Pietro, Wanda and Vision the line-up had mostly been about hitting and shooting things with varying degrees of strength. On Marvel’s horizon in Phase 3 is of course Doctor Strange (played by Benedict Cumberbatch) who should change up the visual experience on screen quite a bit.
