King Arts Brings Iron Harvest to Kickstarter-Funded in Two Days

If you’re looking for an RTS (real time strategy) that takes player to an alternative Europe after WWI, we may have something for you. King Arts in working on Iron Harvest for the PS4, PC, and Xbox One. The game has actually been 104% funded after only two days. The game was originally looking for $450,000 to end this Kickstarter campaign. Fans have it at a little more then $470,000 with 6,033 backers at the time of writing this article.

Iron harvest takes players to the alternative World of 1920+. This alternative Europe will be the setting for this modern RTS. King Arts is using the world that has been designed by artist Jakub Rozalski. The game will be featuring three campaigns from three different factions that include:

  • Polania Republic- A large agricutirual country that has to deal with being partially occupied by Rusviet forces. Players will take on the roles of freedom fighters and rebels.
  • Rusviet- A huge and unmatched country that uses slow yet heavily armored mechs. The country people are tired of this long war and a revolution may be in the works.
  • Saxony Empire- A country with well developed cities, a strong military, modern factories, and one of the most influential countries in Europe. After having to surrender the people of this land are not happy with the current Emperor.

The game will also feature the ability to use heroes like Warcraft 3. Actually some of the games that have influenced this game include Warcraft 3, Company of Heroes, and Command and Conquer: Red Alert. These are only a few of the influences though. The Kickstarter will continue until April 13th. If fans get the game to $500,000 then a new game plus will be added.
